HYMHUS - The future of the Bigton Kirk
On the 9th of February, 2022, Bigton Collective Ltd became official owners of St Ninian’s Church, marking a new phase for our treasured Kirk building.
We have been working on a social business model where the building will become a versatile space for events, installations, exhibitions, arts and crafts, concerts and ceremonies. We also intend to create private spaces for therapeutic activities such as music therapy and support for parents. The project will potentially create office space for local businesses and pop up cafe facilities. In addition, we have plans to convert part of the building into accessible accommodation.
We are so delighted to have successfully secured ownership of the Kirk and to be moving into the next phase of development. We have been humbled by the support in our local community and from further afield and are most grateful to ALL who have supported, advised and helped us get to this stage.
